Day 6- Banja Luka

From Boboj to Banja Luka early in the morning. Up at the crack of dawn to get there and see the Trappist Monastery. It was really quite a sight to see the rising sun coming up in behind it and casting a large shadow over the street. I really enjoyed seeing inside of the monastery to. The high ceiling and walls with carved designs in them were quite something to see in the orange light coming through the windows.
After a while of sitting and the monastery and talking in hushed whispers we decided it was time to get some breakfast. So we went to the Kazamat. There I had a chicken sandwich with sweet tea and french fries( I'm not sure if they're called chips here). It was very good though and after we relaxed for a while we set off again for the Vrbas River. There we sat on the beach and watched the foaming waters splash up. Here we sat on rocks instead of sand though. We were content just sitting there and watching the water until we saw a group go by in a boat and then we all had the same idea. "We have to do that"
We found the rental place and got a guide assigned to us and then were off down the river. The Rapids sloshed us every which way making it hard to stay in the boat but it was still cool and major fun.

Afterwards we thanked the guide and then headed off to the hotel. It was going to be our last night in a hotel before we left tomorrow night for home. Tonight we're staying in the Hotel Merriot.then tomorrow morning is off to Bihac then back to Sarajevo to catch out flight home.
