• Anne thought her life in danger  
• she fought the annulment of their marriage
• Their marriage became a political embarrassment 
• Their marriage was annulled on July 9th, 1540
• remained in England for a large sum
• was given the title of "King's Sister"
•  She out lived King Henry 
• She had no children because King Henry hated her and wished her gone
